Main features

The Handbook is a guide to competition law; it is organised to enable the swift identification of cases, legislation and other documents relevant to any question of EC competition law. The Handbook in combination with EU Competition Law Online is the total competition resource.

There are three main access points to the Handbook so that in in a few easy steps you can quickly find the information you require and link to full text documents in EU Competition Law Online:

Subject search:
Use this search form to retrieve cases on a specific issue or subject. By default it searches both Book One (competition rules) and Book Two (merger control). You can restrict the search to a specific book by un-checking a tick box.

Case search:
Use this search form to access case information; party name, subject or product sector, type of decision/procedure (taken from the Tables section of the printed book).  You can search all or restrict your search to only Commission or National cases.

Table of contents:
Use the Table of Contents to browse the book by expanding the folders through the chapters, sections and sub-sections to the required subject.
